Summer's End

Not much has changed around here. I came across this post I wrote for my web site five years ago. The wild garlic is gaining on me. I didn't get much of it removed last year, and it is very evident.

November 15, 2003

Lunch break is almost over. Then I am back out to dig more tiny wild garlic cloves out of the flowerbeds and borders.

I am trying to get the beds cleaned and weeded, for the time has come to run bags of collected leaves through the mulcher/chipper machine and spread them on the beds. Once done, they will get a light sprinkle of 10-10-10. Then I will consider them "put to bed for the winter".

Truth is: it will probably take me all winter to get it done, considering the size of the areas!

Hate that wild garlic too. Once I started maintaining my lawn and keeping it green it is ever so hard to spot it but I know it is there:)

tina (Tennessee, U.S.A.): Yes, almost impossible to get rid of.

mothernaturesgarden (Tennessee, U.S.A.): Yes, it is. Just like housework. :)

Ha, you both are Tennessee bloggers. Thank you for dropping in.

Tina: You surely get around! :) I'm way behind with my blogging, rain drove me indoors for awhile.
