This is not a daily blog. Posts will be published on occasion and irregularly as I am able. Some of these posts are from my web site The Garden At Crocker Croft. Barbee's Little Shop Is the sales branch of my blog and web site.
Once in a while the camera sprouts legs and takes a stroll about the place. Let's see what he captured. [The cameras here are all He(s)... Local Son, Husband/Best Friend/Chief Photographer, visiting Son-in law, and others.]
Dogwood Winter is hanging on and so are the blossoms. The Island Bed is growing again, and we can now see what was missed in the way of removing excess bulbs. There are not supposed to be any tulips in that bed, but the squirrels do not abide by my rules. The peony plants are shooting up rapidly.
Here the little Eranthis plants are going to seed, and now we have grape hyacinths.
Last fall this area on the bank was cleared and some young daffodil bulbs were planted there. They will probably take at least a couple of years to mature and build up enough energy to bloom.
Too much fun!
Please, no more.

The Garden At Crocker Croft is where I garden a wee bit more than an acre, most of which is an old limestone quarry. It has been a labor of love since 1989.
As an elder gardener, I am slowing down and finding that I now enjoy my web site and blog almost as much as the garden. Must be getting lazy in my old age.
